INSPIRING FREEDOM THROUGH THE ARTS
THE FREEDOM PROJECT
The Freedom Project, under the covering of IMAGO, endeavours to provide media, education, and experiences that guide people of all ages into a deeper intimacy and freedom with the Creator God through movement, dance, and other forms of the arts. An important part of our vision is the privilege of partnering closely with First Nations, Inuit and Metis through artistic expressions of their culture and rich heritage.
BOOK PROJECTS
Books that heal, restore, and set free...
Because God Was There
A personal life story, by Belma Vardy, that First Nations pastors and chiefs encouraged her to tell with the hope of inspiring healing, freedom, and renewal among their people. It is a story that tells the journey out of extraordinary abuse and painful separation to a place of restoration, forgiveness and joy that can only be found in Christ. Thousands of books have been gifted to Indigenous communities. It is also available for purchase on Amazon.
Because the Spirit Was There
A collaboration of stories by First Nations people that deliver hope, healing, and freedom to their communities, their people and beyond, that give life and meaning to the true identity of who they are in God. More than five thousand books have been gifted to Indigenous communities helping to transform lives and communities across the land. It is also available for purchase on Amazon.
VIDEO PROJECTS
Videos that educate, train, inspire...
With the support of IMAGO, The Freedom Project has been able to produce five videos that encourage people of all ages to express themselves through movement and dance with the purpose of bringing them into a deeper and more free expression of worship. Some videos are more inspirational and others are a resource for teachers to teach others.
